While on a two month posting to Windhoek, Namibia as an educational consultant, Claire wrote a feasibility study on the need for English courses for adult beginners and advised the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation on English language learning radio programmes. This was an APSO (former Agency for Personal Service Overseas) posting.
Claire produced two videos on behalf of the Department of Education and Science, one to promote Spanish (presented by Hector Ó hEochagáin), and one to promote Italian at post primary level. Claire Cunningham has produced and directed DVD content for Access, an English course for secondary school students in Germany, since production started in 2012. Post-production of Access 3 will take place in Ireland in 2014/15 and the DVD will be published in 2015 by Cornelsen Schulverlage GmbH.

Claire researched this highly-praised documentary on Irish writer Pat McCabe. Produced by Midas Productions and Mass Productions and broadcast on RTE One television, this programme received a ‘best of category’ torc for arts programming at the Celtic Media Festival in 2009.
