A programme to mark the 200th anniversary in 2017 of the publication of Thomas Moore’s epic oriental poem Lalla Rookh and the music it inspired. The programme is being made in collaboration with Project ERIN, which is based at the School of Arts, English and Languages, 
Queen’s University Belfast, and will feature new performances by mezzo sopranos Martha O’Brien and Helen Aiken and pianist Aoife O’Sullivan.

The programme was first broadcast as a Lyric Feature on Sunday 10th September 2017 at 6 pm. Re-broadcast on Sunday 1st April 2018. To be re-broadcast on RTÉ lyric fm on Saturday 9th November 2019 at 7 pm.
