Claire conceived the idea for this workbook on development issues designed for use with adult literacy students, and managed the project through to completion. The workbook was funded by the Development Education Unit of Irish Aid and was published in September 2008. The project was highly commended in the Once Off Initiatives category of the 2009 STAR Awards.
